Alex Hacker played for the local Curtis Vikings from 2004-2008.  He then continued playing water polo at the college level, playing for Division III teams at the University of La Verne and California Lutheran University in Southern California.  While in So Cal, Alex coached for Westlake High School and for Southcoast Aquatics.  Alex moved back to Tacoma, WA in 2013 and has helped coach the boys at Curtis High School from 2013-2018.  Since then, he has taken on the head coaching position at Mt. Tahoma for two seasons, and is currently the head coach for the boys' and girls' teams at Lakes High School.  Coach Hacker is in charge of the PSP Youth program and also coaches high school level athletes in that program as well.  He has made 7 trips to Junior Olympics with PSP, coaching 18u, 16u, and 14u teams.
